Due to the efforts of NEIEP area coordinator Joe Devlin and the extensive curriculum database of the National Elevator Industry Educational Program, it gives this office great pleasure in announcing a brand new benefit to the members of Local 4. Any active member now holding a Massachusetts Elevator Mechanic License may now fulfill the 8 hour continuing education requirements under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 143 section 71-C through the NEIEP web-site. NEIEP Website. This new and exciting continuing education course will be available starting September 10th 2007 and is of no $ cost to the active membership of Local 4. For your convenience we have attached directions (PDF file with e-mail) on how to enter the NEIEP web-site and registration directions on how to access the continuing education portion of the Massachusetts 524 CMR / NEIEP curriculum. After you have successfully registered at the NEIEP web-site you may enter and exit the curriculum at your discretion to fulfill the 8 hour continuing education requirements.
